Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and skilled professionals to join our team as Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA) and Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) on a per diem, part-time basis.The OTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, assisting in delivering therapy services to help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks and activities.The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, assisting in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and supporting patients with speech and language disorders.

Both roles will start as part-time with the potential to gradually increase the caseload and transition into full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist licensed Occupational Therapists (OT) and Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) in delivering therapeutic services and implementing treatment plans.

Conduct individual and group therapy sessions as directed by the OT/SLP, following established treatment plans.

Track and document patient progress, reporting findings to the supervising OT/SLP.

Prepare materials and activities for therapy sessions.

Help patients improve mobility, coordination, and functionality (OTA) and support speech and language development (SLPA) through targeted exercises and activities.

Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques to continue at home.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in Speech Language Pathology Assistance or Occupational Therapy Assistance, or equivalent from an accredited program.

Current state license or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA).

Previous experience in a clinical, rehabilitation, or educational setting is preferred.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team.

Flexibility to work per diem hours as needed.
